召喚

(1)an order to appear in person at a given place and time

(2)所定の場所と時間に本人が出頭する命令

(3)a request to be present; "they came at his bidding"

(4)出席するようにという依頼

(5)a writ issued by court authority to compel the attendance of a witness at a judicial proceeding; disobedience may be punishable as a contempt of court

(6)司法手続きで目撃者の出席を強制する法廷権威によって発行された令状

(7)従わない場合は法廷侮辱罪として罰せられることもある
